Nuevo Imparcial.- IFEMA was  the setting for the largest commercial meeting of the aviation maintenance industry: Aviation Week MRO Europe, which brought together over 6,000 professionals from around the globe from 7 – 9 October in Madrid.  The event had an exhibition area in Hall 4 of IFEMA, which on 8 and 9 October  hosted  280 international companies, and a conference, which took place in the south auditorium from 7 October and where experts will debate the key issues and challenges for the industry. At MRO Europe the leading suppliers of solutions and services for the aviation maintenance industry were showcasing the very latest products in the marketplace and the most advanced technology for improving efficiency and reducing operating costs.  Meanwhile, the MRO Europe Conference,  which took  place at the same time, had  an extensive programme ranging from success stories to proven best practice, and studies aimed at responding to the new challenges facing the aviation maintenance industry. Airlines, maintenance companies, equipment suppliers and manufacturers, regulators and experts from the aviation industry will be sharing their know-how and experiences with the aim of exploring and defining the key issues affecting the MRO industry.
