Nuevo Imparcial.- Jordi Pujol Ferrusola, son of ex president of the Generalitat in Spain,  Jordi Pujol, has invested part of his fortune in the construction of a large complex or ‘resort’ in the UK which would be the largest indoor ski slope in Europe and located in Great Blakenham, about 135 miles from London.

The controversial project, named SnOasis, amounting to a cost of 300 million pounds (about 380 million euros), with plans to start its operation in 2016; however, the UK authorities have paralyzed construction for various illegalities.

Pujol’s childs investment in the ‘resort’, reports the newspaper ABC, would be based on the use of various companies and front men to acquire a part of the project the amount of which is not yet known. This network of companies was set up by Herbert Rainford, the British financier of Indian descent who is noted as a figurehead of Jordi Pujol Ferrusola in the investigation by the Spanish Justice office

It was in 2005, in the same office of the financier Rainford, located in one of the most sought after areas of London where the idea took shape for Pujol Ferrusola to invest in the ‘resort’. A business that would employ  the corporation Bantridge Estates Limited, managed by the Rainford company, and a block of companies from Onslow Great Blackenham Limited, the promoter of SnOasis ..
